SO SAD NEWS: Just In Boston Bruins Confirm Fans Favorite Superstar Player Just Reach Agreement To Join…….

In the fourth round of the 2024 NHL Draft, the Bruins acquired a forward in exchange.

On Saturday, Boston sent Vinni Lettieri and the 110th pick in the current draft to the Minnesota Wild in exchange for Jakub Lauko and the 122nd pick. Elliott Groenewold, a defenseman for the USHL’s Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, was chosen by the B’s with the 110th pick.

Lauko was chosen in the third round of the 2018 NHL Draft, 77th overall. Before making an appearance in the starting lineup in the final two seasons, he played for the Providence Bruins for his first three seasons. The 24-year-old was in and out of the lineup, but because of his demeanor off the ice and his brave and physical play on it, “Grapes” gained a following.

Lettieri has NHL experience as a journeyman. After making an impression in Providence, he signed a contract with Boston in 2022. He did, however, play in one game for the Bruins towards the end of the 2022–2023 season before getting hurt the day after being called up to Boston. Last season, he signed a free agent contract with Minnesota.

Story continues beneath the pop-up.

Boston traded up to No. 110 in order to acquire two picks, a fifth and a sixth round selection.
