KALB, Washington, D.C. Jayden Daniels, the former quarterback for LSU and winner of the Heisman Trophy, is off to a fantastic start in the NFL.
Daniels, selected by the Washington Commanders with the second overall pick in 2024, appears to be assiduously absorbing the offensive playbook.
Because of his current veteran teammate, Marcus Mariota, Daniels is not overly concerned about the pressure of being a first-round draft pick and can concentrate entirely on learning how to be a pro.
“I’m just going about my business out here. How can I contribute to the team’s daily improvement? That is my main concern. Concentrate on your education. Concentrate on God, he said. “Continue to compete daily and have fun, bringing that enthusiasm, energy, and competitiveness to the team—all things that DQ and them constantly preach about. Our goal is to be the best at everything we do. I’m just trying to do my job out here, then. Making all eleven players on my side of the ball move in the same direction.
