PAINFUL Departure: Just In Boston Bruins Confirm The Departure O Fans Favorite Top Sensational Star Player

In his response, Ty Anderson explains why it makes no sense for the Bruins to reclaim goalie Joonas Korpisalo’s contract after trading Linus Ullmark to the Senators.

For Linus Ullmark, his three years in Boston were unforgettable.

The seasoned goalie joined the Bruins via free agency in 2021 and finished 26-10-2 in his first campaign. After an outstanding season in which he recorded a 1.89 goals-against average and a.938 save percentage, he was awarded the Vezina Trophy the following year.

In 2023–24, Ullmark’s final season with the Bruins, he finished 22–10–7 with a 2.58 GAA and a.915 save percentage. On Monday, Boston sent the 30-year-old to the Ottawa Senators in exchange for goaltender Joonas Korpisalo, forward Mark Kastelic, and a 2024 first-round selection (pick, 25th overall).
