GOOD NEWS: Just In Kansas State Wildcats Football Confirm THE Signing OF Another Top Sensational Star Player

Dominic Mitchell, a three-star linebacker, is destined for Kansas State.

The gifted prospect from Phoenix (Ariz.) Brophy Prep made his commitment to the Wildcats known on Wednesday, after making the official campus visit last weekend. He selected the Big 12 program over eight other scholarship offers.

The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Mitchell, one of Grand Canyon State’s top defensive prospects for the 2025 class, emerged undrafted ahead of his senior year.

“I visited Kansas State this past weekend full of questions that I needed answers to and, when I left, I had all those questions answered and I knew this was the place for me,” Mitchell stated to 247Sports. “The way Kansas State values football, family, brotherhood, and life in general is why I picked them.

“I knew that the K-State coaching staff could help me grow, and that’s what I wanted in a coaching staff. They give me a sense of belonging and family.”

According to 247Sports, Mitchell is the No. 31 overall prospect in the state of Arizona and the No. 195 rated linebacker in the country for the 2025 class.

Mitchell recorded 72 total tackles in 13 games as a junior last season, including 5 1/2 for a loss.

“First of all, I’m super excited to be a part of coach Joe Klanderman’s defense,” Mitchell stated. “He teaches the game so well and is an excellent teacher. Because of my versatility, I think the defensive scheme works well for me as a jack or strong safety. I genuinely can’t wait to participate.”
