For the Kansas State football team, things are heating up in terms of recruiting. On Tuesday, 6-foot-1, 185-pound wide receiver Adonis Moise of Florida’s IMG Academy pledged to play for the Wildcats.
Though he had scholarship offers from Vanderbilt, Indiana, Kansas, UCF, West Virginia, and other schools, he ultimately decided on K-State. With him joining the team, K-State will have five high school prospects in its class of 2025 recruits. Over the past few days, K-State has also signed a number of future players. Colin Truett, a transfer from Tennessee-Chattanooga, joined the Wildcats’ offensive line over the weekend.
Defensive back Martel Jackson of Derby, who earlier this month received a scholarship offer from head coach Chris Klieman, also decided to attend K-State.
When Moise is included, K-State will have a strong recruiting class going into the summer. The Wildcats sold themselves to Moise in no time at all. After spending the weekend in Manhattan as a recruit, the gifted wide receiver committed to K-State in less than 48 hours.
Moise’s potential as a college football player ought to be quite high. While he is rated as a three-star recruit by most recruiting services, ESPN rates him as a four-star prospect because they believe he has more potential.
In terms of receivers overall, ESPN ranks Moise as the 47th best in his recruiting class. In the upcoming weeks, the 2025 recruiting class should continue to expand.
For the time being, though, Moise becomes a part of a group that also includes Jackson, Coppell, Texas, offensive lineman Will Kemna of Jefferson City, and quarterback Dillon Duff of St. Louis.
