ANOTHER SAD NEWS: LSU Tigers Head Coach Just Confirm Fans Favorite Top Experienced Star Player Reject Contract Say He Want To Leave…..

Jayden Daniels, the quarterback, has officially signed a rookie contract with the Washington Commanders. He was the first pick of the Josh Harris/Adam Peters/Dan Quinn era and the second overall choice in this year’s draft. In his last season at LSU, Daniels won the Heisman Trophy, demonstrating a significant improvement in skill and maturity that caused him to soar through the draft ranks.

This offseason, Jayden Daniels has been practicing with the First Team and is a clear favorite to start for Washington in Week 1 over seasoned backup Marcus Mariota. Dan Quinn stated that there will be competition at every position, including quarterback, but it would take a lot of misfortune for Daniels to not be the starting quarterback this season.

Daniels agreed to a four-year contract worth $37.5 million, plus a signing bonus of $24.3 million. Among the three unsigned draft picks, he was one. Today, contracts were also signed by LT Brandon Coleman and TE Ben Sinnott. All of Washington’s rookies are now signed to contracts for the training camp that will take place in Ashburn, Virginia in late July.
